* At this time these are the only available positions for our OLDER PUPPY PROGRAM (OPP) for 2027 & 2028. Once these positions are filled we will not be taking any more OPP applications until we have more planned litters.

CONDITIONS:
➣ An OPP puppy application must be submitted for approval.
➣ The OPP waiting list is it's own entity and does not correlate with our main waiting list!
➣ Clients cannot transfer their OPP deposit to the main waiting list if an OPP puppy has already been reserved and started training.
➥This is due to the important commitment these puppies need. When you reserve a puppy that's already arrived and in training that may influence another families decision based on the availability and timeline. By backing out of your reservation you could jeopardize the puppy's chances to find their forever home during their pivotal moment and key time for placement.
Please ensure you are willing to commit to one of our OPP puppies when you place your deposit. This is very important for puppies on our OPP program!
➣ OPP puppies go home as early as 4 months old up to 10 months old. The age puppies are set to go home is at the breeders discretion based on a case by case basis considering both the puppy and family's needs. Families do not decide when their puppy will come home at the time of reservation but the breeder will discuss a date or timeline with the reserving family so they are aware and accepting of when their reserved puppy will be scheduled to go home.
➣ All OPP puppies are $2,000. No exchanges or replacements of regular puppies for an OPP puppies are offered.

The Older Puppy Program (OPP/ OP Program) has been designed for those wishing to get a puppy directly from a breeder that has matured beyond the 8 weeks old the average puppy goes home. In addition the OPP puppies have also started basic training, house manners, and daily routines.
The Older Puppy Program is a personalized program plan done by the breeder that varies from puppy to puppy and family to family. It is at the breeders discretion when puppies are offered for reservation and designated to go home. The breeder will base these decisions off of the family's application and requests and the specific needs and temperament of the puppy.
Further details will be discussed with each family at the time of each placement to best place each puppy in their forever home.
𝐎𝐏 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦:
Our OP program will be taking the place of our scholar puppy program.
This program will cover a broader variety of requests we get from families for puppies that are older, easier to manage, further progressed medical care, and start on their basic training, manners, and everyday life routines in a family setting.
We want our dogs and families to achieve a higher success rate in a forever placement as well as helping families achieve a more manageable and well rounded puppy for their families.
It's quite common for individuals to request an older puppy or young dog so they're out of their more trialing puppy stages. It's not uncommon for puppyhood to be a daunting task for many and at times families really wishing to have a dog will shy away from getting one at all because they can't find a breeder offering older puppies or younger dogs. We can't say we have seen this being offered unless you are getting a completely trained puppy / young dog and then you are looking at roughly a puppy that costs as much as a used car, which most families cannot afford.

There will be a wait, so please understand joining this program will ensure you get your older puppy directly from us (the breeder) not from another individual that's already allowed them to start bad habits and failed attempts at training, making it possibly even more challenging for you.
It's important to understand these puppies have to age and at least start basic training such as crate training, potty training, and house manners. This means there will be a longer than usual wait! You are NOT signing up for a training program, please keep this in mind. You are signing up for a puppy that has started their training and we are enduring the beginning daunting puppyhood stage for those who are on that waiting list.
The idea of this program is to offer a puppy that's easier to manage and train, that's matured more and can be taught how to behave easier due to their age and start in training. It will also give the families bringing them home an even deeper insight on their puppies' particular personality and traits from us as the puppies have been allowed to mature and work alongside us for longer.
**You will still have to train your puppy from the OP Program! This is NOT a training program, think of it as more of a maturing program that has started training your puppy for you. This DOES NOT mean the OPP puppies will come home trained.
Whether you do this yourself or hire a professional trainer to help you. We will provide helpful resources with training a puppy and breeder support, just as we do all of our puppies.
