If we do not have the shade and gender you requested and a puppy that would fit well with your needs and lifestyle you will move up the waiting list until your perfect puppy becomes available.

Waiting List Information & Conditions

Thank you for your interest in adding one of our precious Golden Retriever puppies to your family! At Carolina’s Cute n Cuddly Golden’s, we believe in quality over quantity and are committed to matching each puppy with the right family. Please carefully review our waiting list information and conditions before submitting your application.

Our waiting list is not limited to a specific litter and we do not promise any one specific litter. Puppy availability depends on the number of puppies born in a litter and genders. Reservation spots for each litter is offered within the first 3 weeks of puppies being born once puppies appear to be thriving well. 

 

1. APPLICATION & APPROVAL PROCESS

Please complete our puppy application. Once submitted, we will contact you by phone or text to discuss your application.

Upon approval, a $250 non-refundable deposit is required to join our waiting list and secure your position.

For families applying for an available puppy, we will first discuss the temperaments of the available puppy(ies) to help determine which puppy best fits your family's needs, lifestyle, and expectations.

Once we have confirmed that we have a puppy available who may be a good match for your family, a $250 non-refundable deposit will be required to reserve that puppy.

Please note: Puppies remain available for other families until your deposit has been received. This policy ensures fairness to all interested families.

 

2. DEPOSITS & PAYMENT TERMS

We currently accept deposits through the following payment methods:

- Cash App

- Zelle

- PayPal (Friends and Family option)

Your $250 deposit will be applied toward your puppy's total purchase price.

The remaining balance must be paid in cash at pickup, when your puppy is at least 8 weeks old.

All deposits are non-refundable. No exceptions. Please carefully consider your decision before submitting a deposit.

Before joining our waiting list, please ensure that, but not limited to:

- You are permitted to have a dog where you live.

- No one in your household has a dog allergy that would prevent you from safely welcoming a puppy.

- Your current pets are likely to adjust well to a new puppy.

- All household members agree to bringing a dog into the home.

- You are physically, emotionally, and financially prepared to provide for the routine care and needs of a large-breed dog throughout its lifetime.

 

3. WAITING LIST PLACEMENT & GENDER PREFERENCES

Once your application has been approved and your deposit received, you will be added to the waiting list for your requested gender in numerical order, based on the date your deposit was received.

If you are open to either gender: You may have different numerical placements on the male and female waiting lists. 

Changing your gender preference: If you decide to change your gender preference after joining the waiting list, you will be placed behind the families already on the waiting list for that gender. This policy ensures fairness to everyone.

Families are placed in numerical order based on the date their deposit was received and may remain on the waiting list for a future litter if they prefer a puppy from different parents or wish to bring home a puppy at a later date.

As families ahead of you find their matches, your position will move forward accordingly.

 

4. PUPPY PRICING 

Our puppies are $1,500 at this time, with a $250 non-refundable deposit due at the time of reservation of a puppy or waiting list spot. 

The deposit is deducted from your puppy's fee amount. The remaining $1,250 is due in cash at the time of pickup of your puppy. 

 

5. PUPPY MATCHING & EVALUATION PROCESS

Puppy matching and evaluations typically take place when puppies are approximately 7 weeks old.

At this stage, each puppy has undergone a temperament evaluations. We use these assessments to help match puppies with families based on their individual personalities, temperaments, and needs.

Families are matched with puppies in numerical order according to their waiting list placement. Depending on your position and the number of puppies you've been matched with by the breeder based off of your Puppy Temperament Questionnaire you'll fill out around 4 to 5 weeks old, you may have one or more puppies to choose from.

Our goal is to help every family find the right companion while ensuring each puppy is placed in a home suited to its individual temperament and needs.

 

6. PUPPY UPDATES 

We love sharing our puppies' growth and milestones with their future families!

Families can look forward to regular updates of photos and videos as puppies grow via text messaging and social media. 

 

7. VETERINARY CARE & GO-HOME TIMELINE

Our puppies typically go home between 8 and 9 weeks of age.

At approximately 7 to 8 weeks old, each puppy receives a veterinary examination to assess their health and identify any apparent health concerns or congenital conditions. Puppies also receive their first DHPP vaccination as part of their puppy vaccination series.

Puppy pickup dates are scheduled after we coordinate the litter's veterinary appointments.

We want every puppy to begin their new journey with their family as healthy and well-prepared as possible.

 

8. PUPPY CONTRACT & HEALTH GUARANTEE

Every puppy comes with:

- A written puppy purchase contract.

- A 1-year life-threatening health guarantee, subject to the terms and conditions of the contract.

- AKC registration eligibility without breeding rights.

By purchasing a puppy, buyers agree to comply with the contract's terms and conditions.

 

9. PARENTAL GENETIC TESTING

The parents of our puppies, including both dams and sires, undergo DNA testing for genetic conditions relevant to their breed and testing panel.

Our breeding dogs are not affected by the genetic conditions for which they have been tested, helping us make informed breeding decisions and work toward healthier puppies.

Copies of both parents' DNA health reports are provided with each puppy.

 

10. OUR GOLDEN RETRIEVERS

We specialize in breeding cream and light golden Golden Retrievers, with a focus on quality over quantity.

Our puppies are raised with care and attention, and we strive to provide families with healthy, well-loved companions.

Each puppy receives a special birth keepsake certificate featuring their birth date and newborn paw prints.

 

11. PUPPY GO-HOME PACKAGE

Every puppy goes home with a thoughtfully prepared puppy package containing helpful items for their transition into your family. Our packages include even more!

We want you to feel prepared and excited as you welcome your new Golden Retriever puppy home.

 

12. LIFETIME BREEDER SUPPORT

Our relationship with our puppy families does not end on pickup day!

All CCnCG families receive lifetime breeder support. We are here to help answer questions, offer guidance, and support you throughout your Golden Retriever's life.
