Do puppies have AKC registration?

Yes!

All of our puppies are AKC registered and will come with all of the necessary paperwork for their families to register them. We do very much prefer our Golden's to be loved family companions, it is for this reason we do not offer breeding rights on our puppies.

Is there a health guarantee provided with your puppies?

Yes.

All of our puppies come with a 2 year life threatening health guarantee.

Do you post/send updates?

Absolutely, yes!

We post puppy updates frequently on our socials; Facebook and Instagram.

Each litter has their own album on our Facebook page, so once you know which puppy will be yours you can easily go back and save all of their photos from birth on up.

Once clients are matched with their specific puppy additional private updates, videos, and photos will be sent.

What care do your puppies receive?

We offer more for our puppies than the average breeder today.

  • Our puppies start ENS (early neurological stimulation) at day 5 after birth on.
  • Two - NeoPar vaccinations at 4½ and 6½ weeks old. NeoPar helps protext puppies from the deadly parvovirus.
  • Multiple rounds of parasite prevention medication: pyrantel pamoate (2, 4, and 6 weeks old) and a 5 day treatment of fenbendazole at 7 weeks old.
  • Health exams done by a licensed veterinary professional to check the health of each puppy and to ensure puppies do not have any congenital defects and check bite alignments, testicles, vulvas, eyes, ears, mouth, hips, elbow, abdomin, etc. for any deformities to ensure puppies are completely healthy.
  • Fecal test - checking for parasites to ensure puppies are parasite free right before they go home with their families.
  • Free microchipping through Fi Nano with free registration and unlimited free lifetime updates.
  • We also socialize puppies with grooming (thinking nails, bathing, brushing, trimming feet and genital areas, touching their mouths, ears, and paws), introducing them to children, loud noises, other dogs (in house, never exposed to dogs outside of our program for safety), vacuum, broom, outdoors, thunderstorm sounds, etc. Preparing them for successful lives and transition in their homes.

Do you have a waiting list?

Yes.

We do operate off of a waiting list in numerical order, not by gender, litter, etc. The only exception to this would be if none of the available puppies, in an available litter, fit your needs and lifestyle requests you put down on your application and temperament forms.

In those cases you would move up the list for future puppies and we would offer the available puppy to those next in line that the puppy did matched with.

We do not have a waiting list for any one specific litter. You are always welcomed to join the waiting list and choose to wait until your spot on the waiting list aligns with a litter your more interested in.

Waiting list deposits are $300 and are Non-refundable.

Please ensure you are allowed to have a dog that's 55+ lbs where you live, that you have the amount of time to dedicate to a new puppy, everyone in your household is on board for a new puppy, that you can financially support a large dog, and last but not least your living arrangements are big enough for an active large dog.

Deposits are accepted through Zelle, Cash App, or Pay Pal friends and family option only.

We highly recommend making deposits promptly to not lose your position.

When should I get on the waiting list?

As soon as possible!

Whether your ready for a puppy now or are wanting a puppy in the future, the best time to get on the waiting list is now.

Those who are higher up on the waiting list get puppies sooner and have more puppies they're matched with to choose from.

Even if your spot on the waiting list comes up if you're not ready for a puppy yet or the puppy you've matched with and are being offered doesn't fit your requests, just kindly let us know you'd like to stay on the waiting list for future litters.

You will move up the waiting list as others get their puppies. The higher up you are the more matched puppies you'll have to choose from as puppies arrive.

There is a 5 year time frame to select a puppy or a two max puppy reservation condition.

What that means is you have 5 years from the time you join our waiting list to select a puppy or a two max reservation condition, meaning you cannot reserve a puppy and move back to the waiting list more than once. If you reserve a puppy you're offered and then later on choose to give up the reservation for that puppy and move back to the waiting list for a future puppy, when you choose to reserve the second puppy you must either follow through with buying the second puppy reserved or forfeit your deposit completely.

With that being said there's plenty of time to find and reserve the right puppy for you.

Being offered a puppy is not the same as reserving a puppy.

Reserving a puppy is the buyer, whether written or verbal, confirming they want a puppy they've been matched with and are being offered to reserve by us, the breeder.

There is a time frame of 5 years to reserve a puppy, but their is no limit to how many puppies a buyer can choose to pass on, especially since we will always offer an available matched puppy to a buyer regardless if they line up with the buyers requests (gender, color, parents, etc) to ensure the buyer doesn't happen to be interested in the matched available puppy when their spot comes up on the waiting list.

Getting on the waiting list early also ensures your puppy's fee will never go up! Your quoted puppy fee at the time of reservation stays the same, even of our puppy fees go up!

How do you operate your puppy selection process?

Here at CCnC Retrievers we believe in giving not only our families a voice, but our puppies a voice too. We want our clients to be able to find the right puppy that not only fits their physical desired traits (gender, color, etc.), but also a puppy that's personality and temperament match their needs and lifestyle too. We also want our puppies to be happy and find homes that can meet their needs based off of their personalities and temperaments.

We've done these placement methods with all of our placed puppies/dogs and don't know of a single one that's been rehomed or a single family that's ever been unsatisfied with their puppy/dog from us. We get many compliments from families who've bought one of our puppies on how amazing the puppies they've gotten from us are!

We match puppies with families listed needs and life style based off of their submitted application and temperament forms.

This process has had great success! And many happy families and puppies!

If your matched puppy/puppies are not the gender, color, or from the parents you wish to get a puppy from you're always welcomed to stay on the waiting list and move up until the perfect puppy becomes available for you that fits your lifestyle needs and the desired color, gender, etc. you wish to have.

Puppy matches are done between 6-7 weeks old.

We will keep those on our waiting list updated.

Do you offer video conferencing?

Yes!

Clients are welcome to request video conferencing to meet us, see the puppies parents, and see the puppies.

We gladly offer this service as it provides authenticity of our program for clients with puppy scammers being so prevalent.

Our video conferences are done through Zoom.

Are puppies temperament tested?

Absolutely, yes!

Temperament is HUGE for a well rounded, good dog, especially if they're going to be around your family!

We ourselves are parents and know all to well how important it is to have a well rounded, good temperamented dog around your family!

That is why we temperament test all of our puppies at 6 weeks with a detailed breeders temperament evaluation. As well as closely working with our puppies daily all the way up until they leave us. We will know our puppies temperaments during those 8 weeks very well and will be able to help pair the right puppy for each families needs.

When do your puppies go home?

Puppies go home at exactly 8 weeks old or after.

We do not allow any of our puppies to go home before 8 weeks of age!

Puppies that leave their mother and siblings before 8 weeks of age are prone to behavior problems and miss out on a lot of important developmental milestones learned from their mother and litter mates between 6-8 weeks old.

How much are your puppies?

Puppies are $1,400

We breed good quality, healthy, well bred, genetically tested, sound temperament dogs at reasonable and fair prices.

Plus we offer many added benefits and great puppy packages with our puppies.

Our deposit is $300 (Non-refundable) and the remaining $1,100 is due when you pick up your puppy.

Do you microchip your puppies?

Yes, we do.

All of our puppies are microchipped shortly before they go home at 8 weeks old with a Fi Nano microchip. This gives families additional protection if your puppy is lost, provided families register and keep their puppy's microchip information up to date

A microchip is not a tracking device.

Our puppies come with Fi Nano microchips that have the added benefits of having FREE registration and FREE unlimited lifetime updates!

Do you health test?

Yes, all of our dams and sires, your puppy's parents, are genetically tested through Embark. You can find each of our dogs information and genetic test results on our "Dams and Sires" tab under their name.

All puppies will be free of genetic tested conditions, including common breed related genetic health conditions that effect Golden Retrievers.

Do you have a contract?

Yes.

We ask everyone to please read over our contract bill of sale before submitting your application and deposit.

Every family will sign this contract at the time of pick up agreeing to all of it a terms and conditions.

Can I meet my puppies parents at the time of pick up?

Absolutely!

You're welcome to meet your puppies parents in person when you pick up your puppy.

Please request this in advance so we can make a note of it, as we don't usually bring the parents out with us to meet families at the time of pick up so families can interact with their puppy and we can go over all of your puppy's information coming home with them.

Can I bring my current dog(s) to meet my puppy?

No.

Unfortunately due to safety of our dogs and puppies we do not allow any outside dogs on property. We are a closed kennel.

What that means is we keep our dogs out of public locations unless they are seeking veterinary care and we do not allow any outside dogs on property to protect our dogs and puppies from parasites, pests, and viruses!

This allows us to keep our dogs in maximum health and provide healthier puppies to our puppies families!

We ask that you leave your current dogs at home.
